30-year member of the ECFOA (1952-82), Drew was the group's interpreter as well as being a top-ranked football official on the collegiate level. There he worked seven Army-Navy games, and two Big Ten finals. According to Gordie Mauer, "He was voted the best official on the board, and was considered a great guy."
